Mammoth Mountain Bike Session
« on: June 21, 2010, 10:22:55 PM »
Looking to go to mammoth for a weekend sometime in the next month. Would be sick to get a group over there to shred some gnar. If youre interested, when works?

do you have an idea how much this will cost with lift tickets, travel, and accommodations?
I want to ride my bicycle.
I want to ride it where I like.

lift tickets are $42 for a day, it takes like 5 hrs to get there so however much gas that is, and i was just planning on sleeping in my car somewhere

what about camping?? Thats also very cheap and comfortable. It sounds to me like if we took one car and filled it with 4 people gas cost about $25 a head (with my car at least) plus 2 days of riding and accommodations would come to just under $150

i'll check the area and see if we could get a camping spot for that weekend

New info: $17.70/night for Sherwin campground, few miles from the ski resort. post up if you'd like to go so we can get a list together

This is finally going to happen. Going Aug. 18th to the 20th with a friend from home, so let me know ASAP if you'd like to go. Should be about $100 including gas, food, riding one day, and camping. Campsites are already reserved.
