Empire Grade Profile

Hi, just wondering what the grade is on empire grade, how many feet vertical climb it is, and how many miles of road it is to the top. I've never done the climb.

check out mapmyride.com and just search for it there. It should have all the route info and profiles

it's about 11.1 miles and about 2150 ft from Mission&Bay to Pine Flat Rd (top of Bonny Doon climb).  dunno what the grade is, it varies a lot. If you go all the way to the Lockheed gate I guess it's 18 miles but I've never done that.
